It was a dark and stormy….
I have always wondered what stories a good fiction writer or poet could write around some of the shots of abandoned places I have done. I figure since the shots are of actual places with no available history, the potential for great stories is very high. I would like to encourage anyone interested in writing a short story around the pictures below to do so. Once there are enough submissions, we will put together a book and hopefully we will all see our names in print.
Submission guidelines:
- Stories and poems must built around the photograph(s). If you want to see more shots from a particular location, let me know.
- Stories and poems should be 500-1000 words, although shorter or longer submissions will certainly be considered.
- There are no restrictions on content or subject matter. Obscene or offensive stories will not be selected.
